“I don’t travel through Midway [Airport] often, but late one night my flight landed at Gate A4B and all the flight attendants let loose huge sighs of despair. Even the ramp crew joked about it.

Here’s why.The walkway from A4B into the terminal is not only long, it feels like a surreal trip down an endless hallway of fluorescent lights and prefab-paneled walls, a nightmare image of some bureaucratic and architectural hell. On the way I found emotionally intelligent signage.”

I was just in Midway and missed it! I wonder what would happen if we surrounded our cities with such signage….if we could make people smile once a day after reading something….might really help with community morale!
