Short short stories (again)

Remember mini-sagas? They’re those extremely short stories that were popular in the U.K a few years ago and that turn out to be one of readers’ favorite exercises in A Whole New Mind. Like a traditional story, mini-sagas have a beginning, a middle, and an end. But these tales are tiny — exactly 50 words long. Here’s an especially compelling one that Chris M. sent me a few days ago:

Suicide
He had everything to live for. He was young, handsome, energetic and wealthy. He had everything to die for. His addiction was running rampant, triggering his mental disease. He couldn’t stay straight, think straight, and he could never see himself growing up, so he chose the alternative. No miracles here.

Got a mini-saga you want to share with the world? Zap it to me. I’ll read them all — and, as I’ve done before, publish the very best here in this space.
