Way back in 1999, I did an interview with Nathan Shedroff, a talented designer who argued that in the future everyone would have her own personalized web site. It’s eerie, but Shedroff’s comments keenly predicted the blogging phenomenon as well as aspects of the social networking trend.

Now he’s blazing fresh trails again. Shedroff is launching a program at the California College of the Arts that offers an MBA in design strategy. We all know that the MFA is the new MBA. But did anyone expect art and design colleges to offer their very own business degrees? Shedroff did. And he’s making it happen. If he’s as prescient about this as he is about most things, CCA’s MBA program will be something to watch.
