Loved the quote (written on a person’s arm) about courage. We need it and it’s NOT the same as military might. TED’s optimism IS infectious. Of course, so are mosquitoes’ little passengers.

As a person who wasn’t often allowed to call my grandma on the phone, because a city 15 miles away was expensive “long distance”, I am thrilled at being able to witness the TED talks and share them via Facebook links. I can talk face to face with my granddaughters on the East Coast from Michigan, virtually free. Technology has its dark side, of course, but it can facilitate relationship, and STORY in ways this “slightly pre-boomer” could only imagine.
