One Response to “Book industry factoid of the day”

  1. Vance Frost says:

I’m a junior at a state college majoring in creative writing. While talking to one of my professors, he bemoaned the bleak future of literature. “The potential generations of readers are being absorbed by technology,” he said. “Hand held gizmos, computers and text messaging will be the death of books”, he added.

Henry Ford once said, “When the industrial revolution was changing the face of the country, people in the horse and buggy business had to ask themselves, am I in the horse and buggy business or the transportation business.”

The future is malleable. Keep up the great work Dan!
